This time last week Tottenham was up in flames why?
Good question but my take on things is that when you alienate a whole sector of society these things can and will happen.
These youth have grown up not respecting their parents not respecting authority, they are harassed on the street and adults are too scared to confront them when their behavior gets out of hand for fear of getting stabbed!
As a result the young people think they can get away with anything.
Put this together with the softly softly approach of the police when the initial skirmishes started in North London.
Then we have a recipe for disaster.
I have to say at this point a good amount of people out looting last week were adults and not just young people were involved.
But it is the youth we need to get back onside so to speak.
Get back to basics good old fashioned discipline talk to them and include them in the political process.
Stop shutting all the youth centers.
This is not a race thing as the press would like us believe this is something that affects all of us regardless of race, class or culture.
We need to learn lessons from this to prevent history from repeating itself once again
